This Privacy Notice is issued by Careable 360+ Plus ("Careable", "we", "us", "our") in accordance with Section 5 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made thereunder. It explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect from you (the "Data Principal"), why we collect it, and the rights available to you.
1. Identity of the Data Fiduciary
Careable 360+ Plus is the Data Fiduciary that determines the purpose and means of processing your personal data. Our registered contact for privacy matters is privacy@careable360.in.
2. Personal Data We Process
- Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, city.
- Account data — login credentials of admin users.
- Health-related signals you voluntarily share when interacting with our Health Coordinator (e.g., medication, vitals, doctor visit notes).
- Technical data — device, browser, approximate location, log data.
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the specific, lawful purposes you consent to, including:
- Onboarding you (or your parent) onto the Careable 360+ Plus service.
- Pairing you with a Health Coordinator and enabling follow-up calls.
- Responding to enquiries submitted through our contact form.
- Improving the safety, reliability, and quality of our service.
- Complying with applicable laws, including the DPDP Act.
4. Legal Basis (Consent & Legitimate Uses)
We process your personal data on the basis of:
- Your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent — obtained at the point of collection (e.g., when you sign up for the beta or submit the contact form); and
- Certain legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as responding to medical emergencies and complying with legal obligations.
5. Your Rights as a Data Principal
Under Sections 11–14 of the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of your personal data and processing activities.
- Correction, completion, updating and erasure of your personal data.
- Grievance redressal — escalate complaints regarding our processing.
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
6. How to Exercise Your Rights
Write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@careable360.in. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and resolve it within the timelines prescribed by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required under applicable law. Once the purpose is exhausted, we will erase it in accordance with Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act.
8. Children's Data
Careable 360+ Plus is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly process personal data of individuals under the age of 18 without verifiable parental consent, in line with Section 9 of the DPDP Act.
9. Cross-Border Transfers
We process personal data within India. If we transfer data outside India in future, we will do so only to countries notified by the Central Government and with safeguards required by law.
10. Updates to this Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you at least 7 days before they take effect, where required by law.
